Who am I?
I am Pietro. I am a teacher, writer, editor and publisher based in Brooklyn, NY.
I have worked both in the US and the UK for a number of companies, including Pearson Education and Oxford University Press.
Over the last decade, I have helped over a hundred students in the New York area get admitted to their dream schools, including Brown, Cornell, UPenn, Berkeley, UMass, Johns Hopkins, Claremont McKenna and Vanderbilt. Whether you are aiming for an Ivy or not, I will help you write a great essay for a school that’s right just for you.
I only work with a small number of students. All my work is done on a one to one basis.
I also support students in my community based on financial need.

How does it work?
The process of writing a college admissions essay can feel overwhelming. I have developed a system that takes the stress out of the process and allows you to focus on the creative aspect.

We will have a couple of initial meetings--to get to know each other, to brainstorm ideas and to select a topic.

We will then work on a plan for your essay, setting out clear, achievable deadlines.

We will break up the writing into manageable chunks, so that the process does not become overwhelming.

You can expect to write between three to four drafts.

We will then work together to polish your essay and to make sure it shines.

How much does it cost?
$500 for your personal statement (650 words).
​
$300 for up to 2 supplemental essays (up to 500 words each). $200 for each supplemental essay after that.
